Glances AI — Privacy Policy
Glances AI organizes your screenshots on your iPhone. Your screenshots, the text read in them and everything the app deduces from them stay on your device: the app has no server, no account and no analytics. The only third party involved is Google, which provides the ads shown in the free version.
Who we are
Glances AI is published by the developer named on the app’s App Store page (“we”). You can contact us at illikrof.tech@gmail.com.
Data that stays on your iPhone
- The screenshots imported from your photo library, with your permission, and the images you share to the app.
- The text recognized in them and what the app deduces: titles, summaries, tags, dates, addresses and contact details. This analysis runs on the device, with Apple Intelligence when it is available.
- Your notes, favorites, collections, reminders, the questions you ask and your settings.
- The titles of your screenshots added to the iPhone’s search (Spotlight), which stays on the device.
We never receive any of this data. It is stored by the app on your iPhone and included in your iPhone backups if you use them.
Permissions
- Photos: to import your screenshots.
- Notifications: for the reminders you set.
- Calendar (add only): when you add an event found in a screenshot.
- Contacts: when you save the contact details found in a screenshot, after reviewing them.
- Tracking: asked for advertising, see below.
You can change these permissions at any time in the iPhone’s Settings.
Advertising in the free version
The free version shows full-screen ads provided by Google AdMob. No ads are shown during the first day of use, and none after buying the full version.
To show and measure ads, limit how often they repeat and prevent fraud, Google may collect data such as advertising and device identifiers (the iPhone’s advertising identifier only if you allow tracking), your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, information about your device and the app, and your interactions with ads. The app never gives Google your screenshots or anything found in them.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent with Google’s consent form. You can change your choices at any time in the app, under Settings → Privacy → “Ad privacy choices”, and allow or refuse tracking in the iPhone’s Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you refuse, you may still see non-personalized ads.

Purchases
The full version is bought through the App Store. We never receive your payment details: the app only checks with Apple that the purchase was made.
Sharing
We do not sell your data and have no access to it. Apart from Google for ads, as described above, the app sends no data to third parties. When you choose an action such as opening a link, getting directions or calling a number, the corresponding app or website opens and applies its own privacy policy.
Retention and deletion
Your data stays on your iPhone until you remove screenshots from the app (the original stays in Photos unless you also delete it there) or delete the app. Data processed by Google for ads is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
Your rights
As we hold none of your personal data, you control the app’s data directly on your iPhone. For advertising, use the privacy choices in the app or contact Google. You can also write to us at illikrof.tech@gmail.com, and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
